Grades K-2 Tour Plymouth to Learn About Community

On Monday, February 3, students, teachers and parent volunteers filled a bus and headed north to Plymouth to learn more about Community. The students have been studying communities in class for weeks. They explored their home communities and then toured the entire campus to learn about the school community.

The whole group began their adventure at the Plymouth University Ice Arena, and then broke into small groups to visit the town library, hair salons, assisted living facilities, restaurants and shops. They all ended up at the Flying Monkey Theater to eat lunch and get a chance to stand on stage and try out the microphone.

Sant Bani thanks all of the Plymouth businesses who welcomed and taught our students more about community!
