SBS Buying Property on Route 127

SANBORNTON - Sant Bani School has signed an agreement to purchase the property at 748 New Hampton Road, which has been owned by Montessori House of Children since 1998. The property was offered for sale in January, and the anticipated closing date is July 15.

“The Board of Trustees asked us to investigate this opportunity,” said Maren McElwee Bicknell, Director of Finance and Operations. “Our plan is to locate a bus stop there, saving parents who now drive their children to and from school about 20 minutes in travel time, and reducing traffic for our neighbors on Osgood and Weeks Roads.”

Sant Bani School will not continue to operate a preschool onsite; the Montessori House of Children business name remains with its current owners.
